    HI, My daughter loves animals. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I have read that the AK Lodge has lots of places to see animals. We are taking one day off to see other stuff. Do you think it is worth the trip to visit AKL? Thanks.

    Hi Carol:

    Upon entering the Animal Kingdom Lodge, your family will be mesmerized by the dramatic lobby expertly themed and filled with African artwork, artifacts, a fireplace (at Jambo House), and huge windows. While it's a beautiful Resort, and while there are places to see animals at the Resort, if your daughter loves animals, you would have better animal viewing and interaction by taking a day to spend at Animal Kingdom Park. However, I would recommend making an advance dining reservation at one of Animal Kingdom Lodge's restaurants, like Boma, Jiko, or Sanaa, and arriving an hour or two early to stroll around the Resort.
