My daughter (8) would love to go on the Pirate Adventure at the Grand Floridian with her older brother (9). She has Down's Syndrome, is high functioning, but is non-verbal and would need someone to watch & help if needed. Would a cast member assist her

    Hi there, Laura!

I am so happy to help answer your question about the Pirate Adventure Cruise at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  Personally, my children have done this adventure many times and two of them are significantly hearing impaired.  Each and every time we've done this, I have had to make the Cast Members aware of their special needs, and each and every time the Cast Members were receptive.  Not only were they receptive, but they were happy to provide extra assistance when needed.  Not only would I recommend this adventure for you, but based on m y experience would encourage you to book it for your daughter.

Please feel free to let me know if I can help with any other information regarding this.  I am happy to help.

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
