Can my daughter the live in California, but buy tickets for her family from Texas

Hi there, Jesse! We're so glad you stopped by with your question. I'm happy to help you and your family plan for a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

When it comes to standard theme park tickets, your daughter should have no issue purchasing for the whole family. After the purchase, family members can download the Disneyland Mobile App and link their tickets to their personal Disneyland accounts and be able to enter the parks on their own. This is easily done by heading into the app and tapping the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "My Tickets & Passes". From here, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner and follow the instructions to "Link Tickets & Passes".

I have a hunch that you may be inquiring if your daughter in California can purchase the SoCal Resident Tickets for family members visiting from Texas. This 3-Day promotional ticket is unfortunately only offered to eligible residents of Southern California, and Guests will be asked to present a valid, government-issued photo ID reflecting proof of residency within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599. I know that was likely not the answer you were hoping for - being from Philadelphia, I know how tempting and magical that SoCal ticket is!

Before purchasing tickets and booking hotel stays, I always like to check out the "Offers & Discounts" page on the Disneyland website. You never know what pixie dust may be offered for your park days! If you have any kids in your party between the ages of 3 and 9, there is currently a special Kids' Ticket Offer that runs through March 20, 2025. Pending availability, Kids can visit for as low as $50 per child with the purchase of a 1-Day, 1-Park Ticket. Multi-day tickets are also available as are Park Hopper upgrades and Lightning Lane Multi Pass for additional fees. If you purchase a multi-day ticket, all days would need to be used within 13 days of first use or by March 20, 2025, whichever comes first. This is a great deal and makes me want to book a trip with my Mouseketeers ASAP!

Jesse, I sure hope you found some helpful hints here. You and your family are in for a magical few days together in the parks where the memories will last a lifetime. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits,
    Tara
