My daughter and I live in the CA Baby Area and will be coming through the Anaheim area in early April, and would like to spend all day April 7th at the two parks. How do I make a reservation starting at California Adventure and buy two 1-day tickets?

Welcome to planDisney, Lisa! Thanks for sharing your question with us. A day at Disneyland Resort sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate spring. So let’s get you squared away with tickets and make sure your visit is a magical one!

The easiest way to purchase tickets is through the Disneyland Resort website. If you’re looking at the desktop version of the home page, you’ll see a spot called “Tickets & Parks” towards the top. Click that button, and you’ll go to a new page where you can select your ticket and the number of days. You’ll want to select “Standard Theme Park Ticket” and 1 day, and then the number of tickets when prompted to do so.

After that, you’ll be asked to select your ticket type. You’ll need to choose the Park Hopper option since you plan to visit both theme parks in one day. After selecting Park Hopper and clicking the continue button, you can then select your theme park reservation date (subject to availability) and which park you’d like to start at. After that, you’ll be asked if you’d like to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Disney Dining Card, or a parking voucher to your order, and then your tickets will be in your cart and ready for purchase.

You can also call the Tickets phone line if you need any assistance purchasing tickets. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help!

It looks like you’ll be visiting during the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival based on the dates you’ve provided. If you're anything like me, knowing all your food options is an essential part of the vacation planning process, so be sure you check out the Disney Parks Blog’s Foodie Guide for a preview of all the limited-time snacks and beverages.

I hope this info is useful, Lisa, and that you enjoy your day at Disneyland Resort. Pop right back if you have other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
