Hi Sabrina,
It’s so exciting that your family will be arriving at Walt Disney World Resort soon! My family also loves
‘Ohana. Between the Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and dinner options, we can’t decide which we enjoy more!
If your daughter cannot eat at ‘Ohana, you’ll want to
call and speak to a Cast Member to note that on your dining reservation. She will still be included in the number of guests to ensure you are seated at a table that can accommodate your entire travel party.
If your daughter plans to eat but doesn’t eat much due to her restrictions, you’ll need to speak with a Cast Member when you arrive at the dining location. Since the breakfast and dinner are served family style and are all-you-care-to-enjoy, any exceptions are at the restaurant manager’s discretion.
If you have any other special dietary needs, I encourage you to email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com no sooner than 14 days before your arrival. The
Special Diets team will assist you with finding options that meet your daughter’s dietary needs as well as providing the dining locations you intend to visit with your dietary information.
I’m not sure of the specific needs of your daughter’s care, but I’d like to remind you that
First Aid centers staffed by nurses can be found in each theme park. These First Aid centers can also store medications that require refrigeration, and offer a quiet and private space to care for your daughter, if needed.
I hope this was helpful information, Sabrina. I know your family will have a magical time on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Thank you for visiting planDisney with this important question, and if you have any future questions, please don’t hesitate to
reach out to me again.
We all have the courage to fly,
Kaitlin
