My daughter is VERY interested in seeing Pochontas. I have only seen her once in 10 years (in a General area at MGM Studios) and can't seem to find out where she hangs out. Can you help us to make this trip special?

    Hi Jennifer,

My daughter also loves this beautiful Native American princess.  There may be some other options to see her in Walt Disney World, but I will tell you of one "no miss" show for Pocahontas lovers.  This is "Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends"  which is located in Disney's Animal Kingdom in the Land-Camp Minnie-Mickey.  This is the cutest show which lasts approximately 15 minutes and plays at various times throughout the day, just check your times guide for the park.  Be prepared to see some of her "real" forest friends and you will get to see Grandmother Willow as she gives her wonderful advice to Pocahontas.  Try to get there early, so your daughter may sit up on the front row bench with the other children and who knows, she may be the lucky chosen one to participate in this show!

She also makes an appearance during the "Fantasmic" show located in Disney's Hollywood Studios. There is a whole part of this show that is dedicated to the Pocahontas storyline.  Here you will also experience many other "wow" factors, including animation which is displayed on water done to that amazing Disney themed music and of course Mickey as he battles those nasty villains!  Your daughter will spot many of her favorite princesses here.  I am not sure how old your daughter is, but when my daughter was 4 years old, she was quite frightened by this show.. although it is easy to get up and walk away if this does happen with your daughter.

One last tip is to go to the guest services location in the park you will be at and ask if she will be doing a meet-n-greet somewhere during that day so your daughter may get her autograph and a nice picture.  The Cast Members will have that information on hand and help you in any way they can!

    Have a magical vacation!
