My 11/yo daughter just injured her achilles tendon, is in a boot, and must stay off her lower leg for 3 weeks. Our trip is in 10 days! She is not old enough to drive an ECV. Does WDW (and the busses) allow non-motorized medical knee scooters?

    Hello, Stephanie!

I am so sorry to hear your Mouseketeer's injury and understand your concern. My mother uses an ECV to tour the theme parks, and there are times when I question if she is old enough to drive the unit! I am happy to report that your daughter can absolutely use a knee scooter during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Keep in mind that if you need one, Wheelchair Rentals are available in all theme parks and at Disney Springs. If you find that your daughter needs additional assistance boarding attractions, then head over to any theme park Guest Relations Lobby to speak to a Cast Member about her situation. They are great to offer suggestions to make sure her visit is magical!

Wishing you a vacation full of memories!
