My daughter is 44 inches and 37 pounds. She is 5 years old. Is it ok for her to ride the Mount Everest ride in Animal Kingdom? On the website it says 44 inches and I feel nervous but she is not.

    Hi Sylvia!

I honestly think if she's ready and meets the height requirement, then why not let her give it a whirl?  Expedition Everest is one of my favorite roller coasters, and I don't even like roller coasters!

To help you feel better about it, have her warm up on a few rides such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom.

The height requirements are there to ensure that the requirements of the safety bars and devices are met, and if she meets those requirements, she is ok to ride.

    Have a magical vacation!
