Hi, Bernard! Thanks stopping by with your question.
I'm so sorry to hear about the health issues you're experiencing. I'm sure you'd love to join your daughter and her family on their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Here's hoping the issues are resolved and you get to enjoy some Disney days with those grandkids soon!
So, in order to use Florida Resident tickets, all adults using them must show
proof of Florida residency at Guest Relations before entering a Theme Park. Floridians can buy discounted tickets for children, but you would need to be present to show your proof of residency before the child's ticket can be activated.
However, your daughter may be able to take advantage of the
4-Park Magic Tickets, a special offer open to all Guests. It's a phenomenal deal, allowing one visit to each Park over four days for a really great price. Just have your daughter check the available dates and see if it can work for her!
And I do have a fun way you can sprinkle some pixie dust on your daughter's vacation, Bernard! You might consider gifting them some
Disney Gift Cards. I know many people who give their kids Gift Cards to buy their own souvenirs during their trip. Imagine how special your grandchildren will feel when presented with Gift Cards to spend courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa! You can
buy them online, or I've even seen them in my local Publix.
I hope I've helped with some ideas to make your daughter's family trip extra special, Bernard. Please do come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
