Hiya, Benjamin! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about
meeting characters at Walt Disney World Resort.
I have so many fond memories of meeting characters when I was a kid and collecting signatures in my autograph book, and now my own children are eager to spot their favorites so they can give a huge hug and take a photo together. My son was so excited to meet Winnie the Pooh at the United Kingdom Pavilion at EPCOT, and my daughter recently hammed it up with Olaf over in Hollywood Studios. There truly is no shortage of amazing opportunities to meet a variety of our Disney pals!
Now Benjamin, I took a look at the available character experiences and I did not see availability for Fancy Nancy or Doc McStuffins. I also noted that the character dining experience at Hollywood & Vine will now feature Minnie Mouse and her pals in their seasonal finery. While this may be disappointing, I will remind you that character availability is always subject to change and new offerings are announced frequently! The best way to know if these characters will return will be to keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog.
Even though you can't meet these characters at this time, there are many experiences that these characters would likely give their stamp of approval! To channel Fancy Nancy during your visit, consider sitting down for tea! You can head over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for tea in the
Garden View Lounge, which is scheduled to reopen early this year, or try the
Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea at The Cake Bake Shop® by Gwendolyn Rogers. While Doc McStuffins is known for her care of stuffed animals, your daughter can learn how veterinarians and scientists care for and study the live animals on exhibit at Disney World by stopping by the
Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom. Don't forget to pop into the
Affection Section as well to give some pets and snag some photos!
Benjamin, I hope you find this information useful while planning your visit. Come see us real soon at planDisney with additional questions!
Stay Magical,
Scott
