My daughter had to be hospitalized and we have to cancel the plan. Are there anything that I should do on the web about reservations? Is it OK to leave the tickets as they are and I can rearrange and make reservations when I can plan to go next time?

Greetings, Chieko! I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your daughter and I hope that she is improving quickly! Let's take one thing off your mind by getting your questions answered. The short answer is that you can absolutely re-schedule your theme park reservations for another date when you and your family are able to make the trip. My advice is to simply log in to your Disney account and select "My Plans" where you will see any currently held theme park reservations. From there, you'll notice the option to cancel or manage each reservation for your travel party. You can follow the steps to cancel those park reservations and you'll receive an email confirmation when this is complete.

When you are ready to re-book your trip, remember that you can make theme park reservations beginning 120 days before your arrival. You can use your original ticket purchase to make those theme park reservations using the "Tickets and Reservation Details" page, especially since your tickets have already been linked to your account. You'll have up until the expiration date listed on your ticket confirmation to use them. If you find that you need more time to reschedule your visit past the expiration date, it may also be possible to apply the value of your original tickets to the purchase of a future ticket, so long as the new price is of equal or greater value. If this is something you'd like to pursue, I suggest calling the Tickets line and speaking with a Cast Member for more details. Alternatively, if a travel agent booked the tickets and park reservations for you, I suggest reaching out to them to assist you with these changes.

I hope this is a helpful set of recommendations, Chieko and I genuinely hope it puts you at ease. The magic will be waiting for you whenever you are ready! Please let us know if we can be of further support and feel welcome to send any other questions our way

    My most heartfelt wishes,
