Hey Michelle!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for your excellent question!
I’m so sorry to hear that your daughter accidentally purchased tickets to Walt Disney World instead of Disneyland. Walt Disney World’s
Magic Kingdom and
Disneyland Park are similar in many ways! But, they are two different theme parks that are run independently. Therefore, the tickets she purchased for Walt Disney World in Florida may not be used at the Disneyland Resort in California.
But, I still encourage her to purchase tickets to come and experience the magic of Walt Disney’s original theme park. There is nothing quite like walking down the only Main Street U.S.A. that Walt set foot on every day. Plus, there are several attractions you won’t find in Florida like Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Mickey’s Toontown! If you have not purchased park hopper tickets, I encourage you to do so. It will allow you to visit both theme parks! Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll experience Cars Land, Pixar Pier and the all-new
Avengers Campus!
I hope this helps. Please return to planDisney with additional questions! We’re all EARS!
