Hello, my daughter has a hard time walking due to a surgery. Before I buy tickets I would like to know how accommodation works. She can’t stand in line for a long time without felling pain or knee swelling.

    Hiya Dayana,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us!

I’m so excited that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort! If you have downloaded the My Disneyland app, you can use it to view your park tickets, book advanced dining reservations, and plan your perfect day with Disney Genie Service! The day before your visit, you can input your favorite attractions, must-see entertainment, and more. Then watch the magic as Genie generates your perfect day. This service is complimentary, so you don’t even have to use one of your three wishes!

The Disneyland Resort offers accommodations for guests with a variety of disabilities called Disability Access Services (DAS). This service is available for guests who cannot stand in a standard queue for extended lengths of time. Guests can request this service before their visit by speaking with a Cast Member via Live Chat to get registered. The Cast Members will answer questions about services available for guests with disabilities and if they qualify for the services available. You can also speak with a Cast Member on the Disability Services line for more information on DAS before your visit. If you wish to wait until you are in the parks, you can visit City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, or Guest Information in the parks to register for DAS.

Tip from Tiffany: You can review which theme park attractions are available for DAS services before scheduling a Live Chat! If there are certain can’t-miss attractions your daughter wants to enjoy, you can see if they qualify for DAS before your visit and request those attractions if approved!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
