My daughter and grandson, age 2, are visiting and I want to take them to Animal Kingdom. Can I buy them Florida resident tickets or do I have to buy out of state tickets? We are planning out visit for this Sunday.

Hi Peggy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be so excited for your family to visit you soon! A day in Disney's Animal Kingdom will be fun for all of you. Make sure to have your camera ready to capture all of the joy on your grandson's face. It will be a day you will always remember!

All Guests ages 18-years-old and older must show proof of Florida residency in order to use Florida resident tickets. With this in mind, your daughter will not be able to use a Florida resident ticket. You are able to purchase Florida resident tickets for your grandson since he is not an adult, but since he is only 2-years-old, I have even better news for you! Guests ages 2-years-old and under are considered "Guests of Mickey" and do not need a theme park ticket! Once he turns 3-years-old, he will need a Walt Disney World ticket, but for now he is all set. Yay!

I hope you have the BEST time trekking through Kilimanjaro Safaris, exploring Pandora - The World of Avatar, and searching for prehistoric Characters at Donald's Dino-Bash!, Peggy! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
