It sounds like you’ve purchased tickets that require activation. Some ticket types (such as
Disney Military Salute,
Florida resident, and
Annual Passes) require visiting a theme park ticket window to show a valid ID or proof of residency on the first use. For the Disney Military Salute tickets, the service member or their spouse will need to be present to show their valid military ID. They can generally then activate each ticket they’ve purchased, up to six tickets with the Disney Military Salute offer. For Florida residents, each person will need to show their own proof of residency.
If you are unable to activate the tickets for the remainder of your party, it is generally a quick process they will be able to do when they arrive. To save time in the morning when you want to get into the parks quickly, you can also activate your tickets at
Disney Springs Guest Relations ahead of time. I have done this a few times the evening before, and it makes the morning go smoothly when I want to get in the park early.
