Hi! My daughter is graduating high school and we are visiting disney world to celebrate. Just wondering if there were any special ideas that I could surprise her with! And also I know they offer buttons for birthdays but do they have one for a graduation?

    Hi Denise!

I think a trip to Walt Disney World is a fabulous graduation gift.  With regards to buttons, there is currently not a graduation button, but there is a generic "I'm celebrating" button and you can write in graduation on it.  However, there are usually graduation related gifts for sale in the various gift shops in the theme parks; definitely look at what's being offered in the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom and at Mouse Gears at Epcot.

For a surprise, you should definitely make a reservation for a nice restaurant and order a specialty cake. Six-inch cakes are available at most Disney Table Service restaurants; other cakes are also available, but must be ordered in advance by contacting the individual restaurant.  If you want a personalized, custom made cake, you can order it via the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253; be sure to order at least 48 hours in advance.

For a unique experience, I would recommend doing one of the backstage tours.  My favorite are the Keys to the Kingdom tour and the Backstage Magic tour.  If you have never done a tour before, you should definitely consider the Keys to the Kingdom tour which provides access to the Magic Kingdom's backstage areas.  It's a great tour and relatively inexpensive.

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
