My daughter just graduated High School and I promised her a trip to Disney. This was supposed to be her first independent trip without parents. Just her sister and cousins to accompany her. She will be 3 months from her 18th birthday is this possible?

    Hi, Kenneth!

Happy graduation to your daughter from all of us at planDisney. 3 chEARs, she did it! My high school graduation gift was also a visit to a Disney Park. My best friend and I visited Disneyland Resort together shortly after we graduated and it was so much fun, so your daughter is sure to love her trip.

I’m sure you are ready to begin planning for her trip, so let’s go over a few Mousekeeping rules. To book and check-in, at a Disney Resort Collections hotel, your daughter will need to be 18+ years old. So as long as you both plan for after her birthday, she’ll be good to go. Make sure to remind her to pack her ID! I was also able to find the minimum age requirement for unaccompanied children to enter the theme parks. I’m not sure the age of her sister and cousins, but please keep these rules in mind.

Kenneth, I hope she has the most magical time. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan for this visit. And don’t forget to check out the Special Offers Deals & Discounts for some incredible savings.

Tell your daughter congratulations, and please wish her a happy early birthday from all of us at planDisney!

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
