My daughter will be 4 1/2 when we goto DW in Oct. I am planning 5 days & doing the park hopper options we are planning to go only to the MK and AK. I'm being told to buy the option. She's not going to make it all day in one park. Your suggestion??

Hi Melissa! I can appreciate your thoughts that you will only want to visit the two parks you mentioned. However, there are some wonderful attractions and activities for your daughter's age in both of the other parks, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You are likely being encouraged to purchase the option so you can take a quick visit to all four parks at some point in your vacation if you so choose.

Children that age often can't spend an entire day in a park. Many parents head out early until just after lunch and then go back to their resort for some quiet afternoon time or pool time. When it is dinner they then again go back into the parks for a bite to eat and some more casual attraction riding or entertainment such as the parades and fireworks. With the park hopper option you can do one park in the morning such as Animal Kingdom and then head to the Magic Kingdom later that day for the parades etc.  Animal Kingdom closes the earliest of all four parks so its nice to have options.

I always have the park hopper option when visiting for the freedom it allows me when I'm there. IF your budget can handle the added cost I encourage it and also encourage at least a few hours to see all four!
