My daughter has a gluten and oat allergy. I am trying to plan our reservations but it says "allergy menu available" but doesnt say what they offer. She is 4 so she is picky is there a way to find out before we make reservations what is offered?

    Hi Rochelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us your question!

You'll love to find out that the majority of dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort can accommodate the following common food allergies:

    • Gluten or wheat
    • Lactose or milk
    • Peanuts and tree nuts
    • Shellfish
    • Soy
    • Fish
    • Eggs
    • Corn

Many restaurants located at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, Disney Theme Parks and Disney Springs now offer allergy-friendly menus to address these allergies and food intolerances, often with no advance arrangements! Here's an example of an allergy-friendly menu. Granted it's from a Fine/Signature dining location that an unadventurous palate is likely to avoid. However, it gives you an idea about the exclusion of allergens from each of the entrees.

I would recommend emailing special.diets@disneyworld.com to request allergy-friendly menus from the restaurants you are interested in booking. I would also encourage you to discuss your daughter's dietary requirements with your server upon arrival at each location or, if desired, consult with a chef or Cast Member trained in special diets—before placing an order.

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
