My daughter is getting married there in June when we come down. I was wondering what would be a nice thing to plan for the family on the evening she gets married? Fireworks cruise? I heard you can rent something for just your family?

Hi Tammy! My family has had an engagement, wedding, and vow renewal all held at Walt Disney World so I know how excited you must be for your daughter's big day.

A special way to celebrate would indeed be a Specialty Cruise. You can reserve a pontoon boat with captain which will hold up to ten persons for either the Magic Kingdom fireworks or Epcot's Illuminations show. Both will offer about a 30 minute cruise on the waters before settling down to have the best view of all for the great fireworks. The music is piped in to the boats and there are sodas and water plus chip snacks on board for everyone. For special occasions I suggest you add something special such as champagne or chocolate covered strawberries or cakes which can all be ordered through private dining at the Yacht Club for Illuminations cruises or the resort where you are departing from for the Magic Kingdom cruises. To book a fireworks pontoon boat please call 407-WDW-PLAY.

If you don't mind a hit on the budget the absolute best possibility is to reserve the Grand One Yacht out of the Grand Floridian. This is a beautiful yacht that can fit up to about 18 persons and you can reserve it for as long as you wish. It comes with a pilot and butler and you can choose to have desserts, snacks, or even a complete dinner served on board. To book the Grand One please call 407-824-2682.

Enjoy this very special moment with your family!
