Our daughter is getting married at the GF wedding pavillion in a couple of weeks. She and her fiance met at Disney while being Disney interns. Any suggestions on what we can give the groom as a personal gift the day of the wedding? Doesn't need jewelry.

What a fun question, Susan (not to mention a fun wedding on the horizon!).  Making gift suggestions is so hard without knowing your son-in-law-to-be personally.  That said, it seems like a given that he is a Disney fan at heart.  I can assuredly tell you that there are many gifts in and around the shops at Walt Disney World, especially for a fan of the mouse.  Is the groom a 9-5 type who works in an office?  If so, you might want to visit Main Street Gallery in the Magic Kingdom.  There are countless gift options there to adorn his office space.  You'll also find some unique collectibles on hand.  If he's a beer guy, perhaps a nice stein from Epcot's Germany would be fitting.  There is also a cigar shop located at Downtown Disney.  Not being a connoisseur myself, I've never stepped foot in there, but it might be an option if the groom is into that sort of thing.  Other ideas that come to mind: Disney-inspired cufflinks, a money clip engraved with a Walt Disney quote, or a monogrammed flask.

    Enjoy the big event!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
