My daughter is GETTING ENGAGED at wdw on 1/1/12. This whole trip is going to be a surprise! She alsways said she would find her prince charming at DW! Q: Can I ask a cast member to take special pix for me or a suggestion would be great! Thanks

    Dear Kim,

It sounds like you have a wonderful future son-in-law.  How very thoughtful of him to plan such a romantic proposal to your daughter!

Whenever we visit Walt Disney World, we find the Cast Members quite willing to take pictures for us whenever we ask.  If you are lucky enough to have one nearby when the proposal happens, I'm sure they will help.

Do you know about the PhotoPass system at Walt Disney World?  There are professional photographers present throughout the Disney theme parks who will take amazing photographs of your family for free.  (Later on you can order these online for a fee, if you so choose). If you find a PhotoPass photographer nearby when the proposal takes place, definitely ask this individual to assist you. (They are often wearing khaki vests and carrying large, impressive cameras). They would be well equipped to help you catch the romantic event.

Wishing your daughter and future son-in-law a lifetime of happy memories!
