My daughter will be getting an annual pass when she gets married next month in Disney. What all does that include? If she books a room for me to go down when she plans on going what discounts will I receive. Also is her park tickets included in her pass?

Congratulations on your daughter’s nuptials, Tammy! And thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m an Annual Passholder and I absolutely adore the fun and savings it brings me!

A Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder receives many different perks, such as special room rates, merchandise and tour discounts, savings at certain restaurants. When your daughter visits the Resort, she will need to show her yellow Annual Pass card whenever she wants to apply her discounts. As her mom, you will only benefit from her Annual Pass if she treats you to lunch, purchases you a gift, or so on.  A room discount (if it applies) will only be given if she stays in the room. Depending on the level of her Annual Pass, your daughter will be able to access all four of Disney’s theme parks (and possibly the water parks) multiple times per year. I have a Platinum Pass, so I can visit 365 days a year until I get my fill of fun… that’s never!

Check out more of what an Annual Pass brings with it and the perks an Annual Passholder receives. If you plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort more than 12 days next year, you may want to consider an AP, yourself! Have a magical visit and a pixie-dusted wedding! ~ Lindsey P.
