Hi Yvonne,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. What a wonderful daughter you’ve raised. You know you’ve done a great job when your child is thinking of your food, wine, and merchandise needs at Walt Disney World!
I have seen that adorable Chef Remy gift card, and it was so smart of them to design it on a wrist coil. I checked in with a Cast Member to see what the rules are about using a gift card to purchase a gift card. What I learned is that you may not use a gift card to purchase a gift card, but you may purchase the Chef Remy gift card for $15 and then combine the value of your existing gift card with it, for a value of the $15 you pay for the Chef Remy card plus whatever is on the gift card your daughter gave you. If you decide to do that, be sure to let the Cast Member helping you know that’s what you’re planning to do so they can complete the transaction as smoothly as possible.
I hope you have so much fun eating and drinking around the World Showcase at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Yvonne! I checked in with one of my good friends and fellow Panelists, Andrea W., whose advice is to stop in at the booths representing countries you can’t normally “visit” at Epcot. I’ve heard rave reviews of the Maple Bourbon Boursin Cheesecake in the Cheese Studio, the Guinness Bailey’s Shake in Ireland, and another one of my dear friends and fellow Panelists, Tabitha D., raved about the beer-braised beef in Belgium. There are
so many terrific options at this year’s festival – cheers, bon appétit, and have a delicious time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
