    My daughter will be going with friends in the park and her tickets have a different reservation days than mine. I need to link her so I can add genie+, but will it change her park reservation. Also, can I unlink her after I purchase her genie+.

    It sounds like your daughter is about set for a day of fun with friends. I'm happy to help make that happen, and the good news is that linking a ticket to a Disneyland Resort account won't affect any existing theme park reservations unless you choose to modify or cancel a reservation. So, let's walk through how to link without touching those reservations.

    First, download the Disneyland mobile app if you haven't already and log in to your Disneyland Resort account. On the bottom right, tap the three-bar menu. On the next screen, tap "My Tickets & Passes." This should bring up your admission ticket. This is also where you will add your daughter's ticket. Tap the "+" at the top and choose "Link Tickets & Passes." You'll need to either scan the code on her ticket with your mobile device's camera or manually enter it by selecting "Type ID" and typing in the ticket ID number. If you have difficulty finding the ticket ID number, call the Tickets phone line where a helpful Cast Member can assist you.

    It's that easy! And when you're finished being linked together, you can easily unlink too. If the ticket has no remaining days, you'll find that it's simply gone from your app, but if there are remaining days, go to the "My Tickets & Passes" screen once more. As you swipe through the tickets, you should see the option to "Remove This Ticket" beneath your daughter's ticket. Tap to remove.

    When your daughter scans into the parks, she will appear as a Guest who is eligible to purchase Disney's Genie+ Service. You won't because your ticket hasn't been scanned. You'll be purchasing Genie+ for the Guest currently at the parks. Once the transaction is complete, she should be able to book her own Lightning Lane Entrance return times on her Disneyland mobile app. If she'd like to book with her group of friends, which I expect she will, they will need to link together on someone's mobile device. The process is the same to link their tickets and unlink after the day of fun is complete.
