My daughter and her friend will be on the dining plan. What is the best way to pay for tips? I have a rewards card - can they use points from that to pay for tips, and how exactly would they do this? I would prefer not to send a lot of cash.

    Hi Debra!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm more than happy to help!

I have a simple and easy solution for your situation - Disney Gift Cards! Your daughter will be able to use a Disney Gift Card for gratuities, souvenirs and incidentals at her resort hotel without having to carry too much cash. Plus, you should be able to redeem your rewards points for a gift card! I always carry a little bit of cash with me just in case but gift cards work practically everywhere at Walt Disney World Resort. So she won't need to carry much cash each day. Be sure to have her snap a picture of the back of the gift card in case she were to lose it. Those numbers would help a Cast Member retrieve the value left on the card. If you need to purchase Disney Gift Cards, just go to DisneyStore.com.

I hope this helps and I sure hope your daughter has a magical vacation! Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Have a pixie dusted day!
