Hi there, Janet!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so sorry your daughter has injured her leg, but there is no place better than the Happiest Place on Earth to lift her spirits. You are all still going to have a fantastic vacation full of magical memories.
Disneyland Resort is very accommodating to Guests with all types of disabilities. If your daughter needs a wheelchair, I recommend heading to the parks early each day as a limited number of
wheelchairs can be rented on a first-come, first-served basis near the entrance to Disneyland Park. You will not need to show a doctor's note when you rent a wheelchair. When you arrive to each attraction, the Cast Member will let you know if your daughter will need to transfer out of her wheelchair or can stay in a special wheelchair-friendly ride vehicle depending on the attraction. To research attractions before your trip, I advise you take a look at the
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities.
Since walking will be more of a challenge, I advise you take time to explore the many unique modes of transportation around the Disneyland Resort such as the Disneyland Monorail, Disneyland Railroad, Main Street Vehicles, and Red Car Trolley. These will let everyone get a chance to rest their feet while soaking up some amazing views. Plus they are quintessential Disneyland Resort experiences!
I hope this helps. Have a Fantasmic day!
