I have a daughter that is four years old and we have been to Disney every year since she has been born and every year we get a custom drawing saying page family vacation with the year this year due to Covid our vacation canceled any way to get a drawing

Hi there Bryan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so glad to hEAR from you, and I'd be happy to assist with your question.

What a crazy year it's been for all of us in the Disney Parks family. It feels like 2020 has been brought to us by the Disney villains. Like you, my family had to adjust our vacation plans, and we were disappointed to miss out on our annual spring visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Fortunately, a great, big, beautiful tomorrow is just a dream away, and we put our next trip on the books as soon as we could!

I love your tradition of having a personalized drawing done each year to capture and preserve memories of your family adventures. My husband and I take a picture of our little Mouseketeers on the big chair inside Gaston's Tavern each visit, and it's fun to look back on the photos to see how the little ones have grown. We try to get that picture taken before the sugar rush from the delicious cinnamon rolls sets in!

Bryan, while the personalized drawings are only available to Guests visiting the theme parks, I have some ideas for commemorating this historic year. If your family is like mine, you've attempted to satisfy your hunger for the Disney Parks by making magical moments at home. My youngsters are about the same age as your little princess, and we've done Disney crafts, Disney movie nights (thank you, Disney+!), Disney-inspired meals, and more. We even took a picture of our kids in front of the television during the streaming of Happily Ever After this past spring. You could use pictures you have of at-home Disney-themed experiences and create a collage, or just focus on one photograph suitable for framing. You could even have your daughter color a picture of her favorite Walt Disney World activity and save it with the photos. I found some great 2020 dated merchandise and picture frames on shopDisney that could help complete your project. While this hasn't been the year any of us expected, we've done our best to make memories with our little ones and just the bare necessities of life!

I hope you and your family find a way to mark another year of Disney dreaming. When you are ready to plan that next magical vacation, we'd love to help make your visit special. Come back and see us anytime.

You've got a friend in me,
    Betsy

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
