Goofy's Kitchen has a fun character breakfast that my kids love! Goofy and his friends often wander through the restaurant, saying hello to families and posing for selfies. You never know what is going to happen in Goofy's Kitchen! When I was younger, Goofy poured ketchup on my brother's ice cream, and we dared him to eat it. He took a bite but that was all he could handle! The breakfast buffet includes traditional and unique breakfast items, such as Goofy's specialty, a peanut butter and jelly pizza!
Another fantastic character dining option is
“Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park" at Plaza Inn. This is the only character dining restaurant located inside the theme parks (Goofy's Kitchen is in the Disneyland Hotel, which is within walking distance of the theme parks). Many of Minnie's friends make appearances during breakfast, and sometimes a villain or two stops by! Plaza Inn also offers
Parade Viewing Dining Packages at select times, which include meals and a voucher for reserved viewing access to a parade performance. Just keep in mind that breakfast is the only character meal at Plaza Inn at this time. The Parade Viewing Dining Packages usually provide lunch or dinner, and characters will not visit during those meals.
For evening experiences, your daughter may be interested in a
Fantasmic! Dining Package or the
World of Color Dessert Party. After a long hiatus, Fantasmic! returns to Disneyland on May 24, 2024. I cannot wait! The World of Color Dessert Party is my favorite way to end a fun-filled day at Disneyland! Guests are served snacks, treats, and beverages while sitting in a reserved viewing area to watch World of Color - One. It is such fun!
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Since reservations for table-service restaurants are usually in high demand, I recommend booking meals as soon as they become available. My other favorite dining locations include
Blue Bayou Restaurant,
Lamplight Lounge, and
Cafe Orleans. If a preferred restaurant is not available, keep checking the website a few times each day. Guests cancel reservations all of the time!
