If my daughter has a foot boot/cast but can fully walk on it, can she still go on rides?

Hi there, Ashley! Thanks so much for coming to planDisney with your question!

Sending lots of pixie dust and well wishes your way in the hopes that your daughter's foot makes a fast recovery! Ahead of your visit to the Disneyland Resort, I recommend reviewing your plans with your family physician to discuss what is or is not recommended depending on your daughter's particular situation. If she is fully ambulatory and able to board and disembark ride vehicles on her own, it is up to the discretion of the Guest to determine if they are able to participate in each attraction. If you are unsure of the logistics of boarding a particular attraction, you can always as the friendly Cast Member at the front of the queue for some more information, and of course, you can also always reach out to our Guest Services team ahead of your visit!

We all know that a Disneyland day can involve quite a bit of walking! If your daughter finds herself needing some time off her feet in between attractions, wheelchairs are available for rent just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance Gate. They are on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if this is something you are interested in, we recommend securing one early in the day. The rental location opens about an hour before park opening.

If she finds herself needing a bit of a longer break, the Animation Academy at Disney California Adventure Park and The Disneyland Story Presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland Park are always my two favorite spots to rest and recharge. Another one of my favorite spots to take a break and let the magic settle in is right outside the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe where The Dapper Dans often perform some of your favorite tunes! Grab a Matterhorn Macaroon and soak in all the sights and sounds of the park.

Ashley, you are in for some magical memory-making! If you have any more questions in your planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney

    Keep wishing on those stars,
