Hi there, Shimshon, and welcome back to planDisney!
It's always a pleasure to help one of Mickey's Floridian neighbors make the most of their proximity to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm so glad you stopped by with your question!
Because Mickey loves seeing pals like you as often as possible, there are currently some
great ticket offers for Florida residents. But as my pal Jessica shared, these tickets are only available to those currently residing in Florida, regardless of age, so unfortunately, your daughter will not be able to purchase these for her children who live out of state, as they do not meet the
residency requirement.
I'm sure this isn't what you were hoping to hear, so I do want to reiterate Jessica's point that Walt Disney World regularly offers savings for Mousketeers who live outside of the Sunshine State, so be sure to keep an eye on the
Special Offers page.
In my experience, late January is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Holiday parkgoers have headed home, so wait times are typically much lower than they were earlier in the month. This often leads to Special Offers and opportunities to save! Additionally, shorter days mean there's more time to enjoy the theme parks aglow after the sun sets. With light sabers in
Batuu, string lights in
Andy's backyard, and neon signs along Hollywood Boulevard,
Disney's Hollywood Studios is my favorite park to visit after dark!
I hope this clears things up for you, Shimshon, and that your daughter's visit is filled with magical moments that become cherished family memories. If you'd like any additional advice for a family vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, feel free to come see us again at
planDisney!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
