My daughter (7), fiance and I will be visiting WDW in November. Are we able to use her FastPass allocations on character meet & greets, but not ours? Would we still be able to go up with her? Alternatively, if we use ours for rides, can she ride too?

    Hi, Kyle!

What a thrill for your daughter to be going to Walt Disney World. She must be so excited to know she can meet Mickey Mouse, the Disney Princesses, and so many Disney Pals!

Each guest age 3 and older must have a valid FastPass+ selection reserved to enter a FastPass+ line. Whether it is a character meet and greet or an attraction, every guest must have their own FastPass+. Since it sounds like your princess might want some character meet and greets, you will need to use one of your selections as well to accompany her. Of course you always have the option of the Stand-by line which does not require any planning ahead, just hop in line when convenient for you.

As you roam the parks, you will find character meet and greets that do not even have a FastPass+ option. When entering the Magic Kingdom, often times you will see various characters on the Town Square available for a photo, autograph, and even a quick hug! Keep an eye out for many of your Disney Pals who are just waiting to meet you!

Another option is to book a character dining experience. Pooh and his Friends are always at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, while Mickey Mouse and the Gang can be found at Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you think character dining might be a good option, make sure you have make a dining reservation well in advance as these locations fill up quickly due to their popularity.

I hope you get to meet plenty of Disney friends and also get to use your FastPass+ selections for some amazing Disney attractions. Have fun!
