    My daughter is very fearful of the sound of fireworks. Is there a place we can watch them, but not hear them?

    Hi Cynthia,

    My youngest was the same way for many years.  I recommend watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.  Last summer, we had dinner at 'Ohana, which is a great Table Service restaurant there, and then walked down to the beach for the fireworks.

    Another option is having dinner at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort and watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balcony outside.  The view is spectacular.  They also pipe in the music there.

    I never found a good spot outside Epcot to watch Illuminations.  On Crescent Lake, there is a bridge connecting Disney's Beach Club Resort to Disney's Boardwalk.  You can see the tops of the fireworks from there, but of course you can't see the fountains or anything else going on in World Showcase Lagoon.
