Hiya Deborah,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your ticket question. How exciting that you are looking to purchase tickets for your daughter and her family. What a special way to celebrate and make memories together. When we visit Disney, we often travel with my in-laws, and I truly cannot say enough about how meaningful those trips have been for my kids. From snapping photos in front of Cinderella's Castle to waking up and stepping out onto the balcony at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to spot zebras roaming around, those moments are the kind that stay with you forever.
Let’s hop right into your question. For Florida resident tickets and discounts, all Florida residents age 18 or older must show
proof of residency at a Florida address. This can be a valid Florida driver’s license, a valid Florida state-issued ID card, or a valid Florida-based military ID. Additional members of the same household will need to show proof of that same residential address. It is also important to keep in mind that Disney does reserve the right to request additional proof of residency at any time. They may cancel a ticket or an Annual Pass, or refuse admission, if a document is not valid or if there are any concerns.
If Florida residency is not an option, I recommend checking out the
Special Offers page on the Disney website. Disney often offers ticket promotions, and these offers can change frequently. If you see something that works for your travel dates, it is a great idea to grab it while it is available.
While your family is visiting, I also highly recommend adding
Memory Maker. It is such a wonderful way to capture everyone together with
Disney PhotoPass photographers, especially when grandparents are part of the trip. These photos in front of iconic Disney locations become treasured keepsakes and are so easy to share with the whole family.
Deborah, I hope this helps answer your question. If anything else comes up while you are planning, feel free to stop by again.
See you real soon,
Christina
