My daughter and family are going to book for October, I am unemployed right now and financially unable to commit. If I should find myself in a better situation to go, can I be added to the reservation at a later date with same discounts etc...?

Hi Carol and thanks for the question!  Oh how I hope and wish that you will be able to accompany your family on this amazing trip, but I understand that things happen!

Disney will allow guests to add to the reservation at any time prior to arrival as long as adding you will not exceed the room capacity.  Your daughter will need to call the friendly travel planners at the Walt Disney Travel Company who will be happy to assist her with adding you to the reservation.  You will still be able to receive the same rate... all she'll have to do is add you to the reservation and pay the difference.  If your family has purchased a package which includes the Disney Dining Plan, you will have to be added to that as well, and if you are beyond the 45-day window, payment will need to be made at this time!

Tip: You have the opportunity to make payments on your reservation up to 45 days prior to arrival.  If possible, your daughter could go ahead and amend the reservation to include you, and determine your share so you can begin making small payments now if that would be helpful!

I hope things work out and that you will be on your way to Walt Disney World soon with your daughter and family!
