I hope you are wearing your ice cream eating outfit, Courtney! And bring a spoon, because you have one sweet treat ahead of you! My family chose to conquer the Mickey Ice Cream sink (a smaller, more petite version of the original Beaches and Cream monster) just two years ago, and were able to bring home the sink to prove it!
The menus have shifted slightly in the last year, but you can still grab Mickey’s kitchen sink. It’s available only at the
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom. Bring your crew with you to scarf two giant scoops of ice cream, your choice of Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter or caramel topped with whipped-cream and two cherries on top. The Cast Members who served us kindly gave us a clean, fresh sink to take home with us, so it wasn’t dripping with ice cream extras, and we still use it as our favorite family popcorn bowl on movie nights. Now, if you really have a Pooh Bear appetite, you can make a
dining reservation for Beaches and Cream, who serve up the
infamous Kitchen Sink Sundae, in all it’s glory. It boasts THREE scoops of ice cream, drenched in toppings, a whole can of whipped-cream, toasted almonds, and the necessary cherry! That big pan of dessert is something I’ll have to skip dinner for! You can watch how to make it with this
Disney Parks Blog Kitchen Sink recipe video.
I hope you and your family enjoy your dessert, and please return to the panel if you have more questions about your upcoming trip. I’ll be here, thinking about my next ice cream order! ~ Lindsey P.
