My daughter doesn’t meet height requirements for Indiana Jones, but my son does. If my son rides it with me and planning to do rider switch, and knowing my son (would probably not want to ride it again) can dad still ride it by himself doing rider switch?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Chelzca!

You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney! It's an absolute delight to welcome you to our little corner of the internet as you get all your Donald Ducks in a row for your upcoming trip to The Happiest Place On Earth this month!

I'm glad you already know about the Rider Switch service which is perfect for attractions like Indiana Jones Adventure. Here's how it works:

    1. When you arrive at any attraction, find the greeter Cast Member and tell them you're interested in Rider Switch. They'll split your group into two: "Party 1" hops on the ride first, while "Party 2"—(which can be up to 2 people in your group) hangs back and waits.
    2. A Cast Member will then scan the tickets for Party 2, so make sure you all have the  Disneyland Mobile App downloaded.
    3. Once Party 1 returns, Party 2 can head back to the attraction entrance as directed by the Cast Member to get their tickets scanned again for Rider Switch. Then, Party 2 can skip the regular queue and hop on the ride hassle-free, while Party 1 hangs out with the non-riders (it's only fair!).

My pals, Panelists Elisabeth S and Kaitlin P put together a fun video at Walt Disney World demonstrating the whole process. I've linked it for you below! So Chelzca, it sounds like you’re all set to join your son on Indiana Jones Adventure while your husband waits behind with your daughter, and then he can brave the ride on his own, just like Dr. Jones himself!

I hope this helps, Chelzca. I may not be as clairvoyant as the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, but I can predict that you and your family are going to make unforgettable memories at the Disneyland Resort in a couple of weeks, If you have any more questions or need more tips, just swing on back to ask me again for a quicker response!

Snakes?! Why did it have to be snakes?!
