Trick or treat, Dalilah, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, especially when it’s for a spook-tacular reason, such as Halloween!
I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that unfortunately, at this time, candy is only being handed out during
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, which is being held inside Disney California Adventure Park this year. However, there is still plenty of
Halloween Time fun to be had inside Disneyland Park! For starters, here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for the day. I recommend checking out the wicked Halloween spell-ebration,
Halloween Screams, currently scheduled for 9:30 PM. Your daughter will also enjoy getting her groove on with Disney Villains during the Disney Villains Dance Party, which is currently scheduled from 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM in Tomorrowland.
Nothing says Halloween Time like the classic
Haunted Mansion Holiday, featuring
Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas! Then, look out for
special Character meet-and-greets with Jack and Sally. Speaking of Characters, I recommend downloading the
Disneyland app to track down your favorite Characters throughout your visit.
Don’t forget to check out the
Main Street Pumpkin Festival, featuring uniquely-carved pumpkins scattered up and down Main Street, U.S.A. This is also the perfect spot to snap some memorable Halloween pictures of you and your daughter!
Last, but certainly not least, be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth with this helpful
Foodie Guide to Halloween Time 2019 at Disneyland Resort. I recently enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice Churro (found near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters) and loved it!
Wishing you and your daughter a pixie-dusted, magical Halloween experience filled with frightful fun and happy haunts!
