I would like to take my daughter to Disneyland for her 5th birthday on or around May 28th... what do I need to do?

    Hi Justin,

Thank you for taking the time to send your question to us here at planDisney, we are always happy to help!  I can't think of a more magical place to celebrate your daughter's 5th birthday, I am sure you will make some fantastic memories together!

Since you are a California Resident, you are in luck!  Theme Park Ticket sales resume today, April 15, 2021 and Theme Park Reservations are open up until June 28, 2021.  Once you purchase your Theme Park Tickets online, I highly recommend booking your Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible since capacity is limited and you have a specific time frame in mind for your visit.  Prior to purchasing your Theme Park Tickets you can check availability using the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to double check the days you would like to visit are still available.

Guests are now required to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for every entry into a Theme Park.  To book your Theme Park Reservation, all you need to do is follow these 4 steps:

    1. Sign into your Disney Account or create a new account if needed.  Since you have just purchased your Theme Park Tickets, you may have to link your Tickets to your account by adding the valid Ticket number.
    2. Create your party.  Add your daughter's Theme Park Ticket, along with anyone else who is visiting with you.  To do this you will need both the valid Theme Park Ticket number as well as each person's name.
    3. Select the day and Theme Park you would like to visit.  If you plan on visiting multiple days, this step will need to be repeated for each day.
    4. Review and Confirm your reservation which includes filling out a Covid-19 liability waiver.  Once complete you will receive an email with a QR code that needs to be presented when entering either Theme Park along with your valid Theme Park Ticket.

Sending you extra Pixie Dust in hope you will have a magical Birthday celebration with your daughter, Justin.  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan, we are here to help!
