Dawn, welcome to planDisney!
You have such a fun idea! There is currently no shortage of novelty mugs and cups found at gift shops located throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. The best places for you to start would be the kitchen section at
World of Disney located in Marketplace at
Disney Springs. Be sure to check out the entire store, though! You will undoubtedly find gadgets and gizmos aplenty at this enormous store!
I have done similar activities with my boys, and we have fond memories of our little adventures! One of my favorites was trying to find as many
Coin Press Machines as possible! We planned ahead and purchased brand new shiny pennies and quarters from a local coin shop in our hometown before our trip. We also brought with us regular rolls of quarters we used to pay for the coins, so we always had what we needed when a machine leaped out at us! You can also purchase penny press books at the gift shops to save your precious new flattened treasures.
My youngest loves searching out Hidden Mickeys!
Hidden Mickeys are shapes, designs, architecture, or other items that resemble the famous mouse's silhouette the Imagineers have tucked away for us to find as a bit of a surprise. They are always fun to seek out!
My new favorite activity while at the Theme Parks with my friends is to find all the
Instagram walls! Several walls have become go-to's for those magical selfies. From the "
Purple Wall" in Tomorrowland that started it all to my new favorite, the "
Orange Bird Wall", you will undoubtedly have fun seeking these out and share lots of giggles and funny faces as you capture these precious moments.
Have a magical day, Dawn!
