My daughter is disabled is there any special services you have

    Hi Allison,

Welcome to planDisney! We are delighted to see you stopping by to ask a great question!

One of the many reasons my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort again and again are the many Services for Guests with Disabilities and the Services for Guests with Disabilities at Disney Resort Hotels. My first suggestion would be to review the services offered to see if they would be sufficient to support your daughter during your visit. Take a look at the Guides for Guests with Disabilities. Each guide includes accessibility information for dining locations for those with mobility disabilities as well as other detailed information for Guests with other needs. If your daughter has mobility disability, be sure to review the page for Guests with Mobility Disabilities so that you can see the attraction information.

As you plan, I would start by searching for an accessible room when you search vacation packages. Also consider the time of year carefully. Although we love to visit during The Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort, it is a very busy time of year and might be too much for some children. There are also a number of other planning tools that would make your trip go more smoothly. These include making Disney Park Pass system and advanced dining reservations prior to your trip.

We are also excited about Disney Genie service that will be available soon! This new digital planning tool will help you to better organize your vacation so that you can focus on making wonderful memories with your daughter. One of our daughters has significant food allergies and we have been so pleased with the care and attention the chefs take with managing her food orders. We have also used Disability Access Service. This service is tailored for Guests who cannot tolerate a traditional attraction queue. When you arrive, check with a Cast Member in Guest Relations to see if this service might be suitable for your daughter.

Allison, if you have additional questions, you can also contact a Cast Member with Disability Services. They have been quite helpful when I have called!

    Magic and memories,
