My daughter is disabled, does not eat large meals, going to stay 9 nights w/free meal plan Nov at Mod resort. If she shares w/me, can others in our party use her points to get more than 9 table service meals? I want to make sure we use every point

    Hi, Susanne!

Meals can be shared if ordering off a menu.  Meals cannot be shared at buffets, family style meals, dinner shows, or any type of all-you-care-to-eat dining locations.  Only one beverage is included with the meal, so if your daughter orders her own drink, this will be an additional charge.

If your daughter is age 3 - 9, her credits are for kids meals.  If she is age 10 or older, her credits will be for adult meals.

As far as giving your credits to other members of your party, the official wording states:
"Meals are non-transferable between party members and expire at midnight on day of check-out."

If you need further clarification on the rules of the Disney Dining Plan, feel free to speak to your server at any restaurant, your Resort Concierge, or call a Disney Dining reservationist at (407)WDW-DINE.  I hope this information helps.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
