Hi Krystina,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your daughter is dancing in the Walt Disney World Resort area!
Without knowing the specific details of her performance, I suggest that you arrive at least one hour early to be sure that you can find your seats in the venue. If you can, bring extra shoes and tights for her should hers get lost or go missing. One of my daughters is a dancer and, at performance time, back stage can get crazy. I have seen shoes and accessories somehow disappear.
For yourself, be sure to bring an umbrella and a lightweight sweater. Bring a few water bottles and snacks as well. My experience with dance competitions or performances is that even if your daughter's group is only on stage for a few minutes, you may have to wait for all of the groups to finish and that could take hours. Always bring your cell phone charger. I carry portable chargers now. Since I use my phone to take photos and videos, I cannot afford for the battery to die when my child is on stage!
Krystina, also be sure to map out the best route to the performance venue from your resort hotel. If you are on Disney property, use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. It has a great "Get Directions" feature. Know that it can take an hour and a half to get from one location to another while on Disney property, so plan accordingly. If you plan to go to a park after the performance, take a change of clothes for your daughter so that you do not have to go back to the resort after the performance. You could
rent a locker to store her dance bag (depending on how large it and the costumes are).
I know she will dance beautifully and you will be so proud!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
