My daughter will be dancing in the dance the world festivities. We plan on buying extra days stay in the hotel can we buy a dining plan

Welcome to planDisney, fellow Pennsylvanian Michael!

Oh, what a wonderful experience you and your daughter will have when she performs at Walt Disney World! Watching my son and his choir friends sing at Disney Springs was unforgettable--enjoy every magical moment of this special opportunity!

If you'll be adding a Disney Resort Hotel Package to your visit, you certainly can add a Disney Dining Plan as well. I love the peace of mind we have when touring with a Dining Plan, knowing that we've prepaid for most of our meals before ever leaving home. While the Resort-Refillable mug that comes along with those plans is a great value, my favorite part is that it's a fantastic souvenir, too.

When you are booking your additional hotel stay on the Walt Disney World website, you'll see the option for just the room or a package--the latter includes the room and theme park tickets. You can customize the number of ticket days you'd like and can add the Park Hopper Option then as well; next, you'll come to the screen where you can add a Dining Plan.

If you aren't sure which plan is best for you, consider how you envision touring those days. My family enjoys sitting down to a nice Table-Service meal once a day, so we opt for the Disney Dining Plan. This allows us to get off our feet (important for your dancer, for sure), relax in a lovely location, and chat about our day while enjoying some absolutely delicious meals.

Need more flexibility or don't see yourselves wanting Table-Service meals? The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan may be best for you. There are so many wonderful ways to utilize those Quick-Service meals, too, so dining deliciously--just a little more quickly--goes right along with this plan.

I also love the convenience of each family member wearing a  MagicBand+. The hands-free convenience of tapping for theme park entry, unlocking our Disney Resort hotel room, accessing our Dining Plan meals, and even purchasing souvenirs was a comfort when we toured with our teens. I knew that they had anything they might need even if our plans took us in different directions for an hour or two. Take a look and see which designs you might like best!

Michael, as you plan your exciting visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional planning questions our way. We love to help!
