the reservation details, she may be able to remove her ex from the December cruise and
add someone else—including you. There’s usually a fee, and it isn’t guaranteed, but it never hurts to ask. If Belle can talk her way out of a dungeon, you can definitely call to explore options.
And since all this definitely wasn’t in your daughter’s fairytale script, here’s a dose of encouragement just for her: this situation may feel like the part of the movie where the heroine hits rock bottom—but that’s always the scene right before the turning point. Whether she uses the credit to book something new, shifts the December plan, or finds an entirely different adventure, she gets to write the next chapter.
