    my daughter and I both have a connective tissue disorder called elher danlos syndrome. Disney will be difficult for us. I am looking for ways that Disney accommodates people with disabilities. Thank you.

    Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    The great news is that Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond most vacation destinations to accommodate guests with disabilities.

    For example, did you know that you can request a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) that will enable both you and your daughter to utilize services that will be helpful to you! One service that is provided that might be helpful to you is the ability to go to a given attraction and speak to the Cast Member at the front of the line about your DAS status, and they will allow you to wait in a "virtual line" with a return time equivalent to the current standby wait time. 

    There are many other options available to you as well, depending on what your needs are.
