My daughter is competing in the Varsity D2 Summit 2023. We received our park hopper code to make our park reservations, but do we need a physical ticket to enter the park? Thank you!

Hey there, Jessica thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your trip is very close and I know you have to be getting excited.

The 2023 D2 Summit is happening this year at the Walt Disney World between May 5th and 7th. This event is an exciting high-level cheerleading competition. Most programs spend months preparing for this Varsity All-Star competition. Hours upon hours go into perfecting each step and staying in sync. The ESPN Wide World of Sports is a premium sports experience maintained professionally and is the perfect location for this level of sports. When I checked on the D2 website the way you would make your park reservations is very similar to how you would once you get your codes from Disney Direct. You would first download the My Disney Experience App. Once you have your ticket confirmation order number, you can add the tickets to your app in the "Tickets and Passes" section for each party member. I would make sure you act quickly to secure your reservation.

If for some reason you are not able to get your first selection, make sure you book another park. At 2 p.m. if you have the park hopper option you can hop to the other park of your choice. If you are able to visit Magic Kingdom Park be sure to check out the brand new coaster TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. This exciting attraction allows users to enter the grid and race against the Programs. If you need to recharge afterward I love grabbing a snack from Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies. The floats with vanilla soft serve hit the spot and will get you to that next yummy meal.

I hope this information is helpful for planning your visit to the competition as well as "The Most Magical Place on Earth." If you have any other planning needs stop back by anytime and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,

    Jeremy A.
