Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tara!
I have a soft spot in my heart for cheerleaders at Walt Disney World, because we had a whole team fall in love with my son on the ferryboat to Magic Kingdom Park when he was a baby. Those girls were so sweet and he loved all the attention! I'm sending your daughter and her team lots of pixie dust for a fierce
and magical competition.
My family's a military family too, and we really appreciate Walt Disney World's fantastic
Military Promotional Ticket offer. Adding the Park Hopper Plus option gives you even more access to fun, and while it does include access to the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, you may also need to pay a separate admission fee to the competition itself. Your best bet is to contact the event organizers to find out more about competition entry fees and ticketing options.
If you hear that a Park Hopper Plus ticket, even if not purchased through Varsity, is valid for the competition, you won't have any trouble using military tickets. They give us the same magical access that the civilian tickets do; just be sure to read the fine print about using your military ID to activate the tickets when you arrive at Walt Disney World, and note the expiration date.
Military members also get a great deal on
Memory Maker, which gives you access to all your PhotoPass photos as well as select ride and character photos. This might be a great add-on for your daughter's special visit, and I'm picturing some sparkly keepsake photos with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
Tara, I'm chEARing for your daughter and her team, and I hope you all have a blast!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
