Hi Pamela!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your own Mouseketeer will be cheering on such a magical stage at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort!
Most sporting competitions held at Walt Disney World Resort are hosted by third party organizations, which usually do require a separate admission to their events.
Walt Disney World Resort offers multiple ticket options, with a Park Hopper meaning that you'll be able to come-and-go, as many times as you'd like, between all four of Disney's Theme Parks in a single calendar Disney Day. Admission to the ESPN Wide World of Sport Complex is not included with a regular Park Hopper theme park ticket. There is a '
Park Hopper Plus Option' that does include standard entry to the ESPN complex; however, it's up to the competition organizer if they will accept these passes as admission to their events.
Your best bet would be to Google the specific competition name and check out their Frequently Asked Question page. Also
look through the previously answered questions here at Disney Parks Moms Panel as many of these competitions are held at Walt Disney World Resort annually. Search multiple times using the competition name, "cheerleading competition", and simply the
ESPN Wide World of Sport tag. Many previous competition parents have asked similar planing questions, plus the ones you may not have thought of yet!
I hope this helped, Pamela, and We'll See you in 2019!
~Kristen
