My daughter will be competing at the dance championship in February of 2023. Is there any family booking blocks for this event? Thank you

Hi there, Amber. Welcome to planDisney

That is so fun that your daughter will be competing at Walt Disney World. It adds a whole other layer of excitement to a competition to do it at the house of the mouse!  My daughter is an all-star cheerleader and she's been able to participate in several competitions at the ESPN World Wide of Sports Complex and they are always a memorable time.

When it comes to the actual competition and details like room blocks, you'll need to reach out to the organizers. Walt Disney World is the location but all of the details of the event are handled by the company that puts it on.  If you go to their direct website, you should be able to see some information regarding housing already. Also, I'd recommend talking to the dance studio that you guys are associated with to see what they typically do for big competitions like this. They should also have information about Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets and spectator tickets for the dance competition itself.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction, Amber. If you have any other questions about planning a Walt Disney World vacation, I hope you'll stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
